Founded in 2001, competitiveScotland.com is a networking organisation and a conduit taking the expertise of the department of Design, Manufacture and Engineering Management (DMEM) at the University of Strathclyde into industry. It also facilitates companies operating in Scotland who are actively seeking to become more competitive through business improvements. Membership of the network is FREE. Use of the resources in this website is FREE. Attendance at our events is FREE.
Latest News
As at the end of November 2007, we have assisted almost 90 small and medium-sized companies in the West of Scotland to become more competitive, thanks to our ERDF and SEEKIT funded programme. Most of our assistance has focussed on introducing companies to new processes which they have applied and which in turn will enable them to create additional sales of over 6million GBP.
