Latest News
Between September 2005 and March 2008, we assisted over 100 small and medium-sized companies in the West of Scotland to become more competitive, thanks to our ERDF and SEEKIT funded programme. Most of our assistance has focussed on introducing companies to new processes which they have applied and which in turn will enable them to create additional sales of over 6million GBP. Read about some of our Success Stories in the News Desk section.
The power of networking
CompetitiveScotland.com provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and knowledge, and encourages members to apply "best practice" methods and techniques in all aspects of business development, including strategy and performance, process excellence, high value manufacturing, business collaboration and supply chain management, and service operations management - in short, any function which affects the organisation's competitiveness.
Events
Our events are designed to support the "knowledge exchange" activities of SIOM and its member departments. Forthcoming events are listed in the Events section. Past events are listed in the Event Archive within the Events folder. Reports of past events are in the Business Kit.
